Lost inside my own world
Trapped inside my mind
I don’t know what’s going on
I feel as though I’m going blind
Sometimes I hardly recognize
The image of my own face
As my soul is battered down
Consumed by fear of disgrace
Fear of the uncertain
Fear of failure, and so much doubt
Fear that I may lack the will
To achieve all I’ve set about
Lost inside my own world
Trapped inside my mind
I don’t know what’s going on in here
Or what horrors I might find
