The fire burns within my eyes
The quickness springs within my step
Just beneath the surface lies
A secret that can’t be kept
An internal upwelling
A voluminous pouring out
Of feeling beyond telling
Which whispers with a shout
If I don’t hold myself together
It will burn me through and through
