My legs are aching, my back is sore
Can barely tie my shoes or hold the door
Ran long and short, slow and fast
Trying to get open for a pass
Three games of Ultimate this eve
Playing hard, you must believe
One lost, two won, a certain victory
Though our exhaustion was plain to see
The cuts, the throws, the diving saves
The disk is what each player craves
That catch in the end zone, that glorious goal
A game to enflame the calmest soul
Twas fun, well played, and now it’s done
The moon is up, long ago set the sun
And now I must take to my bead
For my body is tired, as is my head
