As time passes swiftly through the ether
And fate runs to its inevitable end
The moon will shine on those beneath her
Until from her lofty orbit she descends
When the sun scorches the barren earth
And the atmosphere is immolated
The Son’s death, as lowly as His birth
And we sinful debtors subrogated
