Candle Light

Fickle fire flickers brightly
Twitching atop its tiny wick
Shining in the dark so lightly
Dancing gaily, ever so quick
Fighting back the darkness prowling
Forcing away the night so dim
As we hear the wolves out howling
The creeping darkness rather grim
But we need not fear the night fall
For our light repels the dark’s pall
It only takes a little light
To fill a room from top to floor
To help us each to see what’s right
Understand the things we’ve in store

  1. Haha, "Pall"... Justice and I were cleaning up vestments and stuff on Sunday, and neither one of us could remember that word...
