Twistedly do I ponder my own fate
And, too, that which has brought me here
Things done and not, up to this solemn date
To my present heart both distant and near
Yet were I able the past to amend
I fear I would not the take up the option
Even the ill I’ve wrought has in the end
Made me better or else taught me caution
And forward life strides sans hesitations
Despite our struggles, our machinations
T’ will always be much that one may lament
Yet in the end, we are oft’ by them increased
Lessons learned, my heart remains heaven bent
‘Til my heart grows cold and my breath has ceased
