An Irishman who isn’t drunk is an anomaly indeed
And who doesn’t fight, to boot, is quite a sight to see
But an Irishman I am, though either of these I’m not
And I try to show that not all Irishmen are drunken sots
So in conclusion, Irish stereotypes are really only maybes
All except, of course, the one about us makin’ babies
