Swim out past the breakers, get swallowed by the waves
Or hug against the shoreline, and shelter in the caves
The rocky coast terrifies, the storms are huge and vast
Yet open sea’s more dangerous, each trip could be the last
This is no place for weaklings, no bosom for little boys
The swells can toss and break us, as though we’re naught but toys
The lightning strikes around us, the winds tear at the sail
Only with stolid heart and steady hand does one hope to prevail
Then after the maelstrom settles, and calmly dawns the sun
May we rejoice and celebrate, to see another day has come

Nice imagery! Glad I was up late enough to catch it right off the press.
