To Beer!

To beer! The malt, the hops, the wheat
Those delicious flavors which can’t be beat
To the lager, the ale, the Belgian white
To the winter warmer, the summer weisse

So many flavors, styles, variations
Delicious palates of fermentations
Whether floral heavy or citrus light
Or rich with coffee and chocolate might

The pour, the aroma, the lovely head
The smoothness of that liquid bread
The mosaic of delightful flavour
That invokes in us such devout behaviour

And so, to beer, we drink again
To beer for us, and for our friends
We hoist a pint, we raise our glass
A beer for all, to the very last
