Dark Lord Day Tickets

I now have tickets to Dark Lord Day
Though it’s still a month and a week away
At the end of April, just prior to May
What a time for a grand foray

Thick as motor oil and black as night
That lovely brew is a beautiful sight
When I’ve a cup, everything seems alright
For Dark Lord is such a great delight

We’ll stand for hours in a line
Tasting new beers and passing time
The whole event is quite divine
A beery heaven, truly sublime

And when all is said, we’ll depart
With bottles of beer and a well warmed heart
We’ll stash away a few, if we’re smart
As dreams of next year’s journey start
